Bright Colours and Floral Prints
At the Ashley Isham show I had major holiday envy with his amazing SS17 collection. There were so many beautiful bright colours, floral prints, kimonos and even pom pom earrings. I know that the summer has only just finished but is anyone else planning their next getaway?
Of course Fashion Week wouldn’t be Fashion Week without the beautiful glamorous gowns and trains. One of my favourite shows was the Rocky Star show which was filled with gorgeous lace dresses. I loved the natural tones of the colours, the blue and brown hues and I couldn’t help but think that I needed just a little bit more of that chic Bollywood style glamour in my life and in my wardrobe…
Oversized Shaggy Coats
On the last day the David Ferreira show I saw some beautiful large shaggy coats that I thought would be perfect for Autumn/Winter. Pastel pinks, browns and beiges are really in at the moment and so when I saw this dusky pink number my heart almost burst with wardrobe envy. I decided that I needed one in my life and so that night went online and did some research. Here below are some ofmy favourite finds!
Statement Street Style
London Fashion Week is amazing for street style, edgy looks and original designs. There was no other show where this was apparent than at the Ones To Watch show the models were looking fierce with bright pink faux fur embellishments, silver metallic leggings and glow in the dark trainers.
Femme Fatale Dress
One of the highlights of London Fashion Week was seeing the Sid Neigum in the BFC show space. There were some very beautiful tailored monochrome pieces but of course being a complete magpie my two favourite pieces were covered in sequins and stones. Indeed, these femme fatale dresses were so stunning, I couldn’t resist but find myself a few alternatives.
My London Fashion Week Look – Grey Thigh High Boots
So the day that London Fashion Week started, the weather turned. The sun went in, the clouds covered the sky and of course the heavens opened. Fall it seemed had well and truly arrived. So for my second London Fashion Week look I decided to rock one of the most popular Autumn trends, that of the thigh high boots. Now Stuart Weitzman is undoubtedly one of the best luxury brands for boots, but if your looking for great fashion at a great price then there are so many high street and cheaper online store. I myself went for these Quiz Clothing boots that I got for under £50.
